Where are the bison located?

The bison roam freely across Antelope Island, meaning their exact location changes daily.

Stop at the Antelope Island Visitor Center near the park entrance. Ask the park rangers where the bison herds are currently grazing. They track the animals and can point you to the best roads and viewing areas.

What are the safety rules for bison?

You must maintain a strict distance of at least 100 feet (30 meters) from any bison.

Bison are wild, fast, and dangerous. Never approach, feed, or harass them.
